the only time we get bears here is when there isn't much to eat in the mountains.........then they come down and raise a lot of excitement here............with the drought this year........we had A LOT of bear activity here during the summer.............but IF I happened on one, the last thing I would do is stop and start doing selfies..........I'd get the heck out of Dodge.................................raven

Long before the era of cell phones and instant cameras, I remember meeting stupid people in our amazing Western national parks. With signs everywhere asking.warning park tourists to keep their car windows closed, to stay in their cars, to tie garbage far off the ground, we met idiots every day.

I feel bad for the pets they allow to be attacked by their stupidity, but to this day, I have a tough time feeling sorry for the human victims.
