IF you see a bear coming at you and it's this close...........common sense would say this is NOT the time to take out your cell phone and start taking pictures.............but he did...........now he's out there with four other people and they have no photos.........but then they didn't end up like this guy did................................................raven

the bear had already exhibited "stalking behavior"........so this whole deal was an accident waiting to happen..............and it did.........but it could have been avoided IF the kid would have just not stopped and taken time to take pictures.........bears who keep coming AFTER they see humans, generally don't mean humans any good will.......they see you as a food source/prey...........................................raven

yeah, but they seem to know the bear........so for now he's on the "lamb"........it's just a matter of time...............................raven

This is another example of why I prefer animals to people.

That person should get a hefty fine for being stupid and knowingly getting a wild animal's attention to get him injured.
