And not deep thinkers. Women like the one above seem to romanticize bad guys. We're always hearing about this kind of thing, look at the 13 year old that took off with an 18 year old just a couple of weeks ago. Then there was the woman that hung out with Butch Cassidy & The Sundance Kid.

Everybody knows we have insufficient facilities and services for the mentally I'll but nobody wants to pony up the funds that would be necessary to adequately serve them. We used to have many more hospitals and schools for the mentally I'll but they've gradually been closed. I feel for the families of such people. What is a little old lady to do with a big, hulking son over whom she has no control but can't live alone? We had such a situation in Albuquerque and one day, off his medication, he killed 5 people including two police officers. He's now at the only taxpayer supported facility in NM, which is for the criminally insane.

I agree with you about supporting mental health treatment and research, but there are people born with a deficit.

What we call psychopaths and some sociopaths are born that way, without a conscience and without the ability to empathize. Ted Bundy was an example.

I agree no one asks to be born (human or animal). However, there are those who are born bad they don't need anyone to mess them up, they are just born that way.
