Hi all ..... before I had my surgery I told you all about a little red kitty I'd seen when I was walking Molly. She was so adorable, but thin, and seemingly wanted to come up to me, but when she saw Molly (sooooooooo very scary!) she didn't. The next several days I carried with me some food in my pocket, thinking that if I saw her again I could lure her to me and see if she had any collar, tags, etc. If not, I'd take her home and call my Vet. Well, the Vet. Tech. who has been taking care of Molly while I'm recuperating, saw her the other day and was able to get her.... no collar, no tags, skinny, and oh so sweet. We all figured someone had moved and just left her behind .... I HATE stories like that. Well, the tech. took her to the Vet's. office, put her in one of their cages, gave her food and water and a liter pan, and they're going to neuter him (it's a him) and they already have a good home for him .... one of the other Techs. is going to take him.

I am so happy about this. He is a real sweetie. I could tell everyone in the neighborhood was trying to help as my neighbor below me had put a covered box out with a towel in it for him to sleep in, and there was a bowl of food and water behind the big electric box. It's nice to know people care.

So, he'll now have a happy, loving home and I couldn't be more delighted.
