hello olympic watchers. i am getting the olympic party started a bit early. tonights primetime schedule includes:

mens figure skating short program

womens skeleton

womens 1000m speedskating finals

mens freestyle skiing slopestyle

i will be watching, but mostly after american idol is on. ENJOY the events and GO TEAM USA!!!!! hope we see some exciting performances tonight.

Saw many of the events LIVE today and there was quite a bit of action and drama. There was a brand new Luge relay event but it looks like they aren't going to replay that tonight.

Men's figure skating is setting up to be quite the final tomorrow. Won't say any more.

thanks for the hints LD.....after idol is over i am going to be focusing on the olympics. i am particularly interested in the figure skating and have not read or heard any spoilers today.

LOL i was too focused on all of the snow we have been getting!

Hi everyone , I guess I should ask where is everyone tonight? I am wondering if the storm on the east coast has everyone out shoveling snow. We really did not get any thing out of this except a few flurries. We will probably get more this weekend .

Busy with dinner, laundry, etc. Hope I made it in time for some ice skating. And some men's slopestyle . . . I guess that is what the women were doing the other night and landing and skiing the last part downhill backwards.

we got 16 inches, had a lull in the snow, then it started to sleet, now it is back to all snow with an additional 2 inches more so far. all the shoveling that we did and we will have to do more in the morning. it is a very heavy snow also.

yes, the other night was the womens slopestyle when they were skating backwards. so fun to watch! i am waiting for the skating also.
