Yes you still pay fees for Netflix, Hulu, etc with a Roku.

For me it is worth it. PBS is free as are most news channels. I subscribe to AcornTV because I love old British shows and it's only $49 a year. The other free movie stations...not so great.

It's always a victory for me when I remember why I entered a room.

NO!!!

I don't like shows that scare me or make me sad.

There are certain episodes of The Golden Girls I can't watch because they tense me up.

I'd rather be scared than grossed(chain saw movies) or too sad --- mostly animal movies----Bambi, Marley and Me , etc

I've tried watching Fargo but the characters are unappealing. I don't like them so I don't care what happens to them.
