I'm in central Mississippi and the last two days have felt so much like spring. makes me want to plant some flowers. I know it's just temporary, but it sure feels nice. what's the weather like where you are?

In the Midwest it was mid 30's today. It would have been nice if it wasn't so windy. I went out to change some light bulbs and had a hard time standing on a step stool. I'll take it though.

Here in Arizona the forecast for the week is with temps in the 70's. By the end of April we will have the a/c on. We have a very short winter and a long hot summer.

I just saw on the news about the flooding in the northeast. I live in a part of the country where we don't usually have such weather extremes. it's hard to imagine such a thing if you've never experienced it, but I can see that it must be a terrible thing. our most extreme weather threat is tornado season, which comes twice a year in the spring and fall. I guess every part of the country has it's weather challenges.

I was thinking about pansies. my petunias and impatiens were beautiful all summer and well into the fall until the hard freeze we had a couple of weeks ago, which totally killed them. I'm just pining for something colorful and cheerful.
