Re: spending drastically less with QVC...

I want to return a top I purchased and want to pay return postage myself. Where do I send the item?

Re: spending drastically less with QVC...

Here's my take: QVC has made their S&H charges part of their budgeted revenue for years. It has been a profitable line item. Competition did not matter to them.

There must be two contingents within the company: get rid of S&H and increase sales or keep S&H. They could not agree, thus: the $3 shipping on some items and no return shipping refund. How ridiculous.

Still the elephant in the room and now it is really a strange color.

Because, the competitive market place still beats them hands-down in S&H, speed of shipping and price.

Amazon, Nordstrom, HSN, Evine, Bloomingdale's, The Grommet, Macy's and more - I buy from all these websites and their S&H is usually free, super-fast or both. All outstanding service.

I only buy from QVC what I can not get other places and if I REALLY love it. I used to buy tons and tons.

I've stopped because I don't care for the items they offer.

You and me both. I hardly watch anymore, but I couldn't sleep one night and was up late flipping channels. I couldn't get over the prices of clothing. I can buy clothing here for half OR LESS the prices Q is charging.

Re: spending drastically less with QVC...

For me, it isn't so much the cost of the items, but the fact that the offerings are so boring. ...and like it was stated up thread, free shipping, free returns, excellent service at these other shopping venues in addition to new and fun merchandise makes it more likely I shop at other places. And I'm well aware that the free perks are built into the pricing. It's convenient and worth it to me.

I'll still purchase from QVC but not as much as before. I have to think twice, maybe three times before I order. I'm probably done clothes shopping, the prices are too high. I can go to a B&M store when there's a sale and do so much better.

Have some skin care items on auto-delivery. Other than that, I’m done! Too many other online places to shop with where I don’t have to pay for trying on things that don’t fit and have to return.

Same here arrabella, I agree. My WEN a few MU items and rarely a piece of jewelry and I too used to buy a lot here.

I buy a few household products. Sometimes they have some good deals on make up. I have a great Denim & Co fleece jacket that I bought years ago that is still going strong.
