Well, maybe all the accusations will stop. That was getting really annoying...

Amen. Not only annoying, but paranoid and unfair/unproven.

Re: something new about ""editing"" feature???

I never paid any attention to edita. I don't care if my posts are reported.

it would be nice if they kept the "edited" feature when people actually edit their own posts.

it would also be nice if they added a "reported" feature so someone know that their post has been reported.

sunshine, it would be nice. Don't hold your breath though. LOL

You know how things work around here...

LOL.....all too well! {#emotions_dlg.biggrin}

Don't forget the super-sleuths who report posters for having more than one nic. Gotta love them.

And those (ok make that one) who reported a poster for changing her nic on her account. Which is allowed.

Yeah, I lost my ~ over that, proving that it was perfectly fine according to standards, but I'm not bitter. Much.

I can see even bigger problems if a poster edits their post and it isn't reflected as being edited, particularly with posts that are quoted able to be edited by whomever is quoting. No way to tell then if the quoted post was changed by the original poster or the quoting poster.

As for the edited appearing when a post is reported I'm glad that is gone.

It doesn't matter. Some original posts are removed after being quoted anyway, but the quoted post remains.

I think posters need to pay more attention to their OWN words instead of worrying about being misquoted. And you know as well as everyone else here - some posters, not all but some, will read ugly in some posts while others will read brilliance.

It only matters to those who harp on tiffs from YEARS ago - and most of us really don't care.

IMO, it does matter. It should always show "edited" when an OP edits her/his post. That's a common, important feature on almost all posting sites, and has always been a feature here.

The animosity here is not all from past grievances. There is plenty that boils up on a daily basis with no roots in the past, unfortunately.

I am glad to see the edit notation isn't showing up for reported posts. That caused even more bad feelings around here.

Now THAT I would like to see.

So Edita was banned. Now they need to take care of nice posts disappearing for no reason while the nasty ones remain.

In fact, it would be nice to see Edita leave with some company.{#emotions_dlg.glare}

this is a nice post? {#emotions_dlg.ohmy}

I agree. I've seen enough posts around here that holds past grievances, including those who claim that they do not care about the past grudges

Re: something new about ""editing"" feature???

Posts that have been corrected by the original editor should be noted as such and I too would love to see those that report other posts identified.....
