Sorry your thread last night asking for help and suggestions about your insurance got poofed.
If you see this, I believe that your Employer has to treat comparable employee classes the same with regard to HSA contributions.
The one thing that may apply is that you have to participate in an HSA for a set time before you get the HSA contribution, i.e., 12 months.
Go over the number either way, premium costs, taxes, etc. Good luck
