skin ailment question

I have been battling a skin problem with my cocker spaniel for about a week now. It started under her neck with tan crusty patches which I cleaned everyday with medicated shampoo. They seemed to be getting better and I took a look at her stomach today because she was scratching again and it is now in patches on her stomach.

Has anyone had his problem with their dog? Poor girl is getting old and it is one problem after another.
