Pamela McCoy used to have some quality clothing that I really liked. Even though the prices were higher, with the value pays I preferred to buy classic items that would last a long time.
I have a jacket I ordered a year or so ago from their current brands and the quality was not something I would buy again. although it looked good on TV.

I get the daily 'value of the day' email from them and it seems like 4 days out of 7 it's a watch.
Too bad they abandoned that with which they used to really shine - FINE jewelry! They used to sell incredible gold pieces and gold with outstanding quality gemstones, as well as loose gems that were top notch. Now it's pretty much all costume jewelry - silver, gold coated silver, and just general junk jewelry.
I guess they must know the market better than I, but I very seldom see anything I'm interested in there anymore.
I bought a ton of their stuff in the 'old' days!! Thank goodness with the prices of today... for Example...18K necklaces for $20bucks a gram ...I bought varying lengths and colors lol!

People who collect watches are BIG SPENDERS. If you listen to the calls they take during those shows, the callers are usually collectors and are always looking for something new to purchase.

I like the channel generally (I buy Skinn products) but I cannot stand it when they get on one of those endless watch jags.

I can't see what anybody needs with that many watches, or the tons of shoes people buy on Q either, and I'm certain most think the Temp-tations collection I have is outrageous. I guess the "different strokes for different folks" is what keeps them all in business!
I like to watch ShopHQ's Tiffany lamp shows. Q used to have such nice lamps, and they never put them on air anymore. What's up with that. I know you can saturate a market, but for heavens sake, would it kill Q to have a couple of shows a year with the old Tiffany inspired lighting?

I bought two pieces of Israeli jewelry a couple of months ago and a Skinn kit a couple of weeks ago. I liked all of them and I was happy with how fast it shipped. I noticed that Thomas Kinkade's brother is on there today hawking his deceased brother's art work.
