I do not see how this station stays in business.... hours and days and days of Watches then clothes like Brooks Brothers that are way over priced and with loafers going for $168.00... I mean really???

I think those watches are what keeps them in business.

I would think that people would just have enough eventually?

As somebody who doesn't wear watches, I have a hard time getting how they can sell sooooo many watches. I guess it must be lucrative or, unless they're not too bright, they wouldn't be doing it.

I get the daily 'value of the day' email from them and it seems like 4 days out of 7 it's a watch.

Too bad they abandoned that with which they used to really shine - FINE jewelry! They used to sell incredible gold pieces and gold with outstanding quality gemstones, as well as loose gems that were top notch. Now it's pretty much all costume jewelry - silver, gold coated silver, and just general junk jewelry.

I guess they must know the market better than I, but I very seldom see anything I'm interested in there anymore.

I've bought a bunch of items from this network and I don't even wear a watch. I go through our Hopper Guide and record Electronics and other shows that I think have items that interest me. Their prices are much better than this network and they have products you have never seen here.

If it is still owned by NBC I think that network has much bigger problems with their Main Network, when it comes to ranking at the bottom in about every category, than they do with their shopping network.

For me I wonder how they even get sponsors when many of their shows have cable networks having more viewers than they do, even in some of the Prime Time Slots.

Value Vision owns ShopHQ since 2001 and changed their name last year.
