Is a split king the same size as a twin?  I wouldn't buy twin sheets from any shopping channel.  They benefit the queen and king size beds but not the smaller ones.

@mollymaggie,

Ok, yeah even for me that's kinda crazy!😄

That's a lot of work to save a buck or two.  I know the king top sheet split in two will not be wide enough to fit the twin bed properly. There will be no or little overhang.

What about the fitted sheet? What would you do about that though?

I understand the frustration in buying twin sheets. It has always bothered me that when buying twin sheets you only get one pillow case while the queen and king get two pillow cases. I need two pillows.whether it is a twin bed or a queen/king bed.

A split king is two twin fitted sheets.  Its for adjustable beds which operate individually as two twin beds, we have one.

I thought a split king used twin XL and not a twin?

Are you saying they don't make twin sheets anymore?
