If you type "Archway Christmas Cookies" in the search bar on Google, several recipes come up.

Anything with "Grandma" in the title as got to be good, and these looked great in the photos.

@little missy  Are you aware there is a separate recipe forum here?

@deepwaterdotter

That is basically my recipe that has been handed down through the generations except we do not use mixed nuts.  We only use shelled pecans chopped, not ground up.  We don't use just any raisins.  We use white raisins because the dates satisfy the dark raisin.  So white raisin is better for the blend of flavors.

Re: requesting a recipe

@little missy   There is a recipe for your cookies here on an old Recipe Swap forum dated 12/19/10 posted by @lavendarsage who credits gulfcoastms which might be just what you are searching for.

I hope this helps.  And, yes, as someone replied there is a dedicated Recipe forum where you can post questions such as yours where people help each other and have a lot of fun learning aand sharing.  And the Kitchen forum is for less dedicated culinary related discussions, but sometimes there is an overlap.

Look forward to having you join in there.

If the link to it doesn't work type in Christmas Fruitcake Cookies in the "Search Forums & Blogs" slot and you should find it.  I think it was the second choice in the list when I typed it in.

Best, and nice to meet you.
