I have order several items from qvc, which I have returned, because of the damages to the product or to the defectiveness.  I ordered a cookbook recently, that arrived very damaged.  Page missing, marks, whatever, so of course I returned it with having the total of the book, returning to my credit card.  I just ordered a pair of shoes, but found the same pair, my size $10.00 cheaper from, you guessed it from AMAZON.  SHIPPING FREE.  The prices of items on the q have really increased.  So, I sorry to say, I am taking a long break from the Q.

Which cookbook?  Care (or dare) to share?  Specifics can be quite telling and helpful.

What are the "marks" and "whatever"?  Missing pages from a book seems quite odd and unusual.

IT WAS THE LATEST COOKBOOK THAT WAS PRESENTED.  I CAN'T HELP THAT IT SEEMS UNUSUAL THAT THERE WERE MISSING PAGES, BUT IT HAPPENED, PLUS MARKS AS WELL.  APPARENTLY, IT WAS USED.  NO FURTHER ORDERING FOR ME, FOR A GOOD WHILE.

@little missy Was it the America's Test Kitchen cookbook? I just received mine last week and it was shrink wrapped and in perfect condition. What cookbook did you order?

God bless customer service reps...all of them but especially QVC.

Can you imagine what you would deal with in the course of a day?

I could never do it.
