I’m just tired of seeing the same ‘ole thing every time I log in.

Hi @Drythe and Happy Holidays

Me, too.  imo it's not appealing at all, nothing to draw you in.

If you scroll down to the bottom of the opening page, it looks like the Q is becoming an outlet for things you see on TV infomercials.

I miss the old QVC.

It's so frustrating to go to a website and have issues.  When that happens to me, I just go to the red box in the right hand corner and X out.  This means that the vendor may very well have lost a sale.

Personally, I miss the way their page used to look and function.  It was all there and one could get to it quickly.  Now, so much is hidden and they're highlighing "things" are are not sale-able.

Here is my take on things.

Remember when women got together for neighborhood “coffee klatches?” We don’t do that any more...why? because society changed. We have cars and can be more independent. We have malls, too, but those are becoming obsolete.

The movie “Joy” was telling. 1986 society (QVC began here) was ready for the “inventor” selling their wares on home networks.

I’m afraid that things have just changed, and not necessarily for the better.

I think you are right, @LTT1

The Q used to go all out for the holidays, I remember specials on a few nice outfits, fancy tops, always a pretty watch, good for a gift, other things along that line.  Now it's mostly the same products you can find other places.

@sfnative

Do you want my email address?

I have this funny feeling that we may lose touch.

Well, they’re obviously not using any of the income from the advertising space they are renting out towards improving the BBS.
