Wonder how many Hundreds of Thousands of QVC Net Revenue was lost yesterday? With qvc.com disabled for most of the day, I'm sure they took a beating with the ordering system.

I feel sorry for all the vendors, but especially the TSV vendor, Josie Marin. Shame.

I'm sure they did, and with years now of major web failures, it's their own fault they lost so much! Absolutely no excuse for such poor design and maintenance. It's inconceivable to me that given the size of their business they don't have at least one mirror server! QVC should be ashamed of their automation failures IMHO.

Absolutely. And while I'm not happy they lost $$$ while they're website was down, maybe losing revenue was what it finally takes for TPTB to WAKE UP and see what a failure their website is.

And while I have no idea what a mirror server is, I strongly agree they need it. {#emotions_dlg.biggrin}

None of the other websites I visit have had any problems. I haven't seen any of them be the mess that the Q is.

I was really on the fence about ordering the Josie Maran TSV. Did not really need it but I did want to try the SPF product. Thank you QVC.com for making up my mind for me.

I think ShopHQ's is worse. You put something in your shopping basket and someone can still buy it leaving you without. Their search feature is poor too.

I was on the hsn website a few days ago interested in trying their jeans. As a relatively new customer with their clothing, I wanted something on sale to see how the fit was. So, I found a couple and went to check out. When I hit the submit button I got a message that said in order to get the sale price I had to use an HSN credit card which I don't have and have no interest in getting. I couldn't believe it. I said forget it and emptied the cart. {#emotions_dlg.thumbdown}
