"Oogie, a special dog

This is my youngest daughter and her special friend, "Oogie" at the annual gala of the animal shelter where she volunteers her time. Oogie was a little puppy who was used in a dog fighting ring as a "lure" to get the dogs to fight. He has many injuries and a missing ear and was nearly dead when he was rescued nine years ago. Oogie has many friends who love him and has had a very happy life since. There is a book that describes his life, my daughter is holding it in her hand. One of us will gather up the courage to read it one day.
