~ "Irene" and possible left-behind pets ~

Times like this always worry me because inevitably, after this storm passes through the east coast, there will be film clips of people's pets, who have been left behind when the people evacuated, roaming the streets. It always just makes me feel sick. I understand the panic of evacuating, being sure you had all your family .... but our pets are family too. I can't even imagine leaving, knowing a fierce storm was coming, and leaving my dog Molly, and my 2 kitties, Daisy and Amber, here behind to fend for themselves.

Just thinking out loud this morning I guess.
