I've used a Q Card for years and pay it in full each month . I tried paying online once and didn't like it. I like getting a paper statement to keep track of purchases. It details all items and easy pay orders. Online bank doesn't show this and can get confusing . I like keeping my Q purchases on a separate card and don't carry a balance. This works for me !

I don't pay my Q bill through their site. I have all my bills set up through my Credit Union & pay them all there. I don't want to give my info. out to each place I need to make a payment so they can take money out of my account. I have control over who gets how much & when they get it. I don't want all the statements. That's just something else I have to shred. I also don't have to worry about anyone getting our bills out of our mailbox when we are not home since everything is paperless. Less risk of someone getting some of our personal info.

I don't have any problems with the online statements. I worked in an office doing bookkeeping, payroll etc. I'm a numbers person so don't have a problem figuring it out.

I'm thinking of getting a Q card but I'm always reluctant to apply online and give out my SS#.

Has anyone applied online lately and what's your opinion of doing so?

TIA!

Not being rude as I know the written word cannot tell..but in the world of credit cards a $500 line of credit increase isn't much to brag about. It is like they begrudingly gave the increase when asked.

Something also doesn't sound right with the OP..if I had a issue with a card and a employee offered to assist me..I would JUMP on that offer immediately lol..

I haven't applied for the Q card but i have other accounts here and there over the computer and over my phone with no issues whatsoever.

I happen to be out buying a dryer and was going to use my rewards CC when after I made my selection and took the receipt up front to pay that I noticed a promotion with free  interest for X amount of months with the store card. I applied by my phone and showed my approval and they send you a text with the bar code so you can temp use it.

I have NEVER had a problem paying bills online, using my phone to log on accounts etc.  The couple issues I had was actual instore breachs like the Target etc.

Synchrony bank must own all the store cards. I have a couple and the other day in Toys R Us they asked me to apply to get the additional discount as I was making a significant purchase ...I was going to as it was a decent savings but then I noticed it was Synchrony bank and figured ENOUGH with them ..they are going to flag me LOL..I have never had an issue though with them..

Call me cynical but I'm thinking some chains are getting yanked here.
