playground safety

They just did a piece on CBS this morning about how dirty and germy - really germy - the play areas are at fast food restaurants. Mc Donalds said they clean them everyday and disinfect once a week, but despite that they are gross. Well, do you doubt that people let their kids play on there with things like dirty hands and dirty diapers? And if these are that dirty what about the ones in outdoor playgrounds that never get cleaned? Do you doubt that kids have their hands in their mouth or in their nose and then play there? It was gross to listen to and watch but , you know, anywhere there are kids there are germs - it just is that way! If your kids are playing with other kids they are getting exposed to Lord only knows what. I guess that is why God made us with immune systems.
