I received the same alert early this morning but haven't seen anything about it since.

I looked back at the CNN notifications on my iPad. At 3:29 a.m.: "Crew searching Indian Ocean for MH370 getting radar hits of 'significant size,' ABC News says."

I don't see any follow-up on this, doing a quick Internet search.
