The southern Indian Ocean is very deep, maybe the plane may never be found.

Thanks, I don't recall news reports about that area being combed so I was curious.

More questions. Was this area under consideration for search earlier?
Like i said this IS where they were looking
Thanks Tansy I was beginning to think I'm invisible lol
What all of you were saying wasn't understood and then excuses were made.
I guess some posters haven't followed the news on this.I just hope it's the plane even tho every one had that hope the passengers were safe.

There were two areas that they thought were possible. This was the one that they thought was most likely. Did you see those 2 red arcs they had on a map? This is on the lower one.

If you read the article that I posted yesterday from Wired, then this could possibly fit, if it's really the wreckage. http://www.wired.com/autopia/2014/03/mh370-electrical-fire/
In that article, the theory put forth was that the plane was going for a (emergency) landing at Pulau Langkawi.
If you look on a map, Langkawi is north of where this current "wreckage" has been sighted.
Wreckage drifts, currents move things in the water quite rapidly.
So, according to that theory, this could fit.

Yet they give commentary as if they did...blah, blah. blah.
I too hope it's the plane so the families can have some closure...it has to be devastating to be told so many things that haven't proven true.

The fire theory's widely disputed because the change of route was done 12 minutes before the co pilot said allright goodnite
