South Joisey expecting either 8-12 inches or 12-18 inches.  Depending on which news channel I watch.

We are new to the East and are looking forward to the storm. It's a novelty to us. We're all stocked up with food and firewood.

I'm in the metro-DC area and we're supposed to get 6-12 inches....depending on which station you listen to.

I am kinda looking forward 12-15 inches here, DH is off, we don't get snowed in together often. Selfish of us. Wish everyone well.

We're looking at 18 to 24 inches. I'm going out in a little while to do some banking and laying in a week of food, if the shelves aren't stripped. I am hoping for a melt-off by Sunday. I can't decide yet whether I wish that this could have been spaced out in three or four 6" snowstorms, but this just reinforces the reality that you can't count out March to give you a major blast of winter.

baltimore area here.

there are conflicting news reports for our snow amount totals, so we are expecting 6-12 inches or 10-20 inches, which is a wide range. a lot has to do with the temperatures and the rain/snow line.

headed to the grocery store to buy some lunch meat, cheese , and bread.

freezer is loaded so no worries.

bar is loaded so no worries. Smiley WinkWoman LOL

it is supposed to start tonight after 7pm and last through the late afternoon on tuesday.

we cannot complain too much really, we only got maybe 2 inches of snow maximum this winter, which is nothing.

stay warm and safe everyone in the path. will check back in when it begins here.

The National Weather Service is saying about a foot here in my part of South Jersey. A lot depends on how the storm moves. If it moves faster, we get less snow. If it slows down or stalls we get more. If it stays close to the coast we could get more rain/sleet. If it moves a bit more offshore, we'll get more snow.

The worst storm I've ever dealt with was a mid-March snowstorm back in 93. We had a foot of snow, then three hours of heavy rain that penetrated through the snow, then the temps nose-dived freezing the whole mess solid. I was out for over twelve hours chiseling/carving out frozen blocks of snow in sub-zero windchills. As long as we don't get a repeat of that, I'll be okay.
