Today was the installation for new Direct TV service. The appt. was between 12noon and 4pm. After 4 phone calls from various people from Direct TV, asking "Has the installer called ?" NO. Finally someone did get here @6pm. Now it is after 8pm and he has not even gotten the sat. up on the roof yet.

1. called me sweetheart as he came in the door-I am not.

2. did not have any order and asked me what was I getting installed-Huh?

3. Told me to wire one room would be 49.95-I said no, free install up to 4 rooms, he said "oh well"--was he just trying to get money?

4. He did not show photo ID as I was called up(call #2)and told he would.

5. I should have known a "deal" never is.

Has anyone else had this problem with this company-- or am I out of touch and every company works this way?
