Why can I get on HSN's website and look up anything and I can not do anything on QVC.  I don't have cable at the moment and it drives me crazy that hsn works but not Qvc.  thanks

I have cable but for some reason can't get onto Evine.  Keeps telling me to clear my cookies.  Then my computer crashed.  Am on DH's business laptop and afraid to remove cookies (I don't really know what cookies are or how to remove them) and am afraid I'll delete something important on DH's computer.

Luckily I can get on Evine's card site to pay my bill, but he website, nope.

So when you try to get on qvc's site, what does it say?  I'm mean, you're here!

Thank you.  it doesn't say anything.  Finally it will say safari can't open this page.  I guess my cable must be fueling qvc but not hsn.  Goodness.. if I were you i wouldn't want to get on Evine.  Goodness knows what it will do.

@Nadine O

try clearing your cookies and also try using a different browser to see if you can view qvc.

Get the apps.  I especially like the HSN app.

What exactly are "cookies?"  And how do you clear them?

It sounds like they are bad and we should get rid of them.  Why?

Try a different browser such as Firefox or Internet Explorer.

@Big Sister

they are  the tracks you make on your device.....every site and page you have visited. i clear mine every day.....sometimes more than once a day.

it depends what type of device you are using and what browser you are using as to how to clear them.

@sunshine45  Thank you for your reply.  I am using an HP laptop with Windows 7 and I'm on Firefox.  Does that help you to help me Clean the Cookies?  TiA
