i took in my 4th cat about 6 weeks ago. he's a sweetie, very timid, even though he's a big boy. He's about 6 yrs. old, neutered, very sweet and to my horror, i just discovered he hasn't been using any of the 3 litter boxes i have throughout my not so large apartment. I've been letting him go down my cellar a few times a day for a change in scenery, especially since one of my older cats attacks him. I just found out he's been using a corner of my cellar for his litter box, there's a pile of dust there so therefore....... i live in a 3 family house so the cellar isn't very fancy, i am the landlord so i can't get into trouble. I put some of his waste into a new litter box and left it in the same spot. By the way i volunteer in a shelter and nobody wanted him and so i took him home. Any ideas ?? Felinemom P.S. all my cats are indoor cats. should i return him to the shelter ?
