If you don't know how to do those tasks then ask and I can show you.
Good suggestions. After deleting all the cookies etc, try the browser DuckDuckGo dot com. See if you get a "fresh" entry.

Welcome to the jumbled brain Club. To quote my dear mother, we don't know if we're washing or hanging out. I never quite knew what that meant that but I think I got the gist. My brain is jumbled so who knows

That's a good idea. That's the search engine that I use.
Another thing that you can try to do to make a fresh start with your Chromebook @newjersey , is to reset it to the factory default settings.
It's like cleaning out your history and cookies and other settings.
You might have to sign in again to certain websites but it may help to clear up any potential issues that you might be having, too.
I've gone back and forth between using a Windows PC and Chromebooks, and I'm back to using a Samsung 15 inch Chromebook right now.
Anyway, if you want to try and reset it, here is how to get there:
To get to the reset section, you want to go up to the three dot menu all of the way in the upper right-hand corner of your Chrome browser screen.
Click on the dotted menu.
Scroll all of the way down to the bottom of the page. You'll see a section that says Settings.
Click on that.
You'll then get a left-sided side bar Settings menu.
Scroll all of the way down on there, until you see Reset Settings.
Click on that, and then follow what it tells you to do.

What I loved about aol was they have a search engine for your emails. Like, when you need to retrieve a certain email and you have no idea how far back you have to go to find it, you don't have to look for an hour if you have aol. You just type in the subject of the email you're looking for and aol finds it for you.

I still use the AOL app on my phone as a backup email and I love their current events and financial news reporting.
The email functionality is indeed impressive and useful. I can search emails going back years and years.

@NYCLatinaMe , today it's working fine. Don't know why it wasn't yesterday. Could it have been a glitch?

@SilleeMee , I did all that. Thank you though. Today (at least right now) it's back to normal.

@NYCLatinaMe , yes I check every day to make sure its up to date. I only use the chrome operating system on my chromebook computer so I'm confused as to why I got that weird Edge not working message yesterday. I don't even have the Edge browser on my computer.

@Judaline You can do that with any email provider.
