Molly had her checkup yesterday - 3 shots also. In the checkup he said she really needed her teeth cleaned - $350 not counting any extractions she may need. Yesterday's visit cost $191, counting 3 shots. She is a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel and I knew they eventually wind up with a heart murmur which only increases with time. So far she's fine, but he said within the next few years she'll need to see a Veterinary Cardiologist which will cost between $400 and $500.
I knew about the heart problem they could have, but I guess I was hoping by some miracle she wouldn't. Right now she's fine, but he told me to start saving for it because it's inevitable. That's why there aren't more of them, because people read about them and decide against them because of that and the expense involved.
I'm tired. I love my girl, and somehow, I WILL do this, but OMG .... these prices are just awful.
