It's interesting how people read posts so differently. I understood the OP to mean that if a host is rounding to an even dollar amount, it should be the closest dollar amount. Other people apparently read this very literally. I guess it takes all kinds to make the world go 'round! Woman Happy

dh always rounds down, when he wants me to buy something. $5.99 is 5 bucks.  i always tell him "no, it's 6"
