I think they are just very thin. Though the plus size models wear Spanx, you can see it at times when they are showing the waistband of a pant. I love spanx for close fitting clothing. It really works.

@dexwrote:@Ms tyrion2 well now that you mentioned surgery.I had an operation to repair my damaged ovaries in my twenties.I have a nice big scar running across my lower abdominal area so that could be it.Thanks at least now I think I know why my stomach has become my biggest measurement.
What are you trying out at the gym to tone up the abs?
@dex,
I'm doing yoga at this time. I have a Tspine compression fracture, so I am being careful about impact exercise. I also walk.
I did some research regarding the belly/hysterectomy issue and it is apparently a common problem. There are some exercises if you Google hysterectomy belly that I hope will help too.

I used to have a fairly 'flat' tummy years and years ago.
But, now, at my age, it's a blessing to just be alive and somewhat safe (no falls, broken bones, major diseases so far, etc., etc., etc.).
We can't live forever, so, imo, just keeping alive and safe is more important to me than, say, my un-flat tummy.
Wishing everyone well. And that's the important thing.

p.s. I've been noticing that even some of the very slim previous models and actresses (Twiggy, Iman, and many others), as they became older, they don't seem to go crazy over keeping ultra-slim.
I do think that with age comes a different perspective regarding life, our short time on earth, etc. And, yes, it's ok to have a bit of padding on our bodies. Might come in handy in an unfortunate fall or illness. Jmo right now.

Oh, and thank goodness b*tts are 'in'.
That's a huge distraction, to say the least.

Where I live, every other radio commercial says the problem is "Low T' and there are clinics for it on every corner.
All the radio jocks get shots for it.
Everyone needs to be checked.
Seriously though, it is for the men of course.

This is why Isaac and other designers are selling the peplum style top like this.

@ROMARY I agree that there is more to life than worrying about our figures .I still want a thin waist because I love all of the fitted styles and don't want to be forced to wear baggy looks.I am not expecting too much.I only want a slim toned body, glorious hair and smooth skin!LOL.

Yes! It's nice that now-a-days we are able to wear various styles that smooth over any tummy and other problems.
Much better today than having to go crazy over each and every bump and flaw. Battling over 'this and that' can be quite stressful, and not very healthy in the long run. In the all-encompassing scheme of things.
Jmo, of course.
