Here is the scepter Queen Camilla will hold at the crowning of King Charles.  I think it's classy:

I wouldn't mind having a cane like that (minus the bird)...

it is very pretty.

is the bird supposed to hold any special significance or be any particular type of bird?

I love it!  Is it an heirloom or did she buy it new for the occasion?

Is this the ivory one that may be a source of controversy?

The below taken from an article in the Independent published 17 hours ago.

The ivory staff which Camilla will hold was made in 1685 for Queen Mary of Modena, wife of James II. She was the first Queen Consort to participate in a coronation ceremony following the restoration of the monarchy in 1660.

@beckyb1012

I saw an article mentioning it this morning, I think in The Daily Mail.  But I did not open and read the entire article.

Thank you for the info!  Will be interesting to see if there will be any controversy about it.

For something made in 1685 I like it. It's been in use for every coronation since.

While I love elephants and do not want any harm to come to them, this piece is old and was made in a different time. Since it still exists and has historical and traditional significance I'd like to see the tradition continue.
