Thanks, sidsmom. I tried to tame it down by joking about it when I saw what had transpired overnight, but I got called on that and told that "you and I were just loving keeping it going"! It was like we were being accused of being "buddies" and stirring the pot, which wasn't true at all. I think I've only posted with you once or twice before...I just thought people were getting a little ridiculous. I get really frustrated sometimes because it's apparent that people so often just post and don't ever bother to read what was posted earlier, so they have no idea what is really going on. As I said just before it got poofed, I'm sure you didn't know you were going to start World War III over a band-aid, did you?

Sorry your thread got deleted, sidsmom. I didn't think you were being mean to the host or anything. Something similar happened to me a few days back. Some posters took what I said the wrong way, the thread that I made got super nasty and my thread was deleted.

But, maybe it won't happen again. Welcome to the QVC boards.

BTW...what part of NC? I lived & worked in Charlotte for a year. Every street is named ""Queen"" something....I was perpetually lost that entire year!! HA. But beautiful country. Kudzu everywhere!

NC is short for Nick Chavez, the famous hairstylist from Beverly Hills, CA.

Around the Triangle area....although I was joking with another poster the other day who lives in western NC in the "Land of the Sky". Now that's beautiful country - I told her to please send me some snow because it never snows here any more, and I love it! And you're right - if someone doesn't do something, kudzu will take over the world! Maybe that should be a movie "Kudzu - End of the World"!

I've had that happen, too. I started a thread and had so many kind, thoughtful responses, not a single one was contentious in any way. It got deleted and I was so upset, because I wanted to go back and re-read some of the comments and respond to some individually. I called Corporate (yes, I was really upset), and when they tracked it down, it turned out to be that for some reason, the invisible "poofers" ASSUMED something I said meant something totally different than what it obviously meant. I know they can't be aware and understand every single discussion, but sometimes maybe they could think a little more before they delete an entire thread. I've had others taken down by people who get in arguments between themselves and its not even about my post any more. But I guess it is what it is on the forums.....
