The price on them has gone up so much.

I guess I'm one of the few people who doesn't like them. I bought a couple at the grocery store one time and didn't like them at all.

At my local store you can buy a 12 pack for $7.49...$5.00 on sale. I don't like them, too hard.

I think I'm not a "bar" person often enough to buy them in quantities like Costco or even QVC sells them. I tried once (maybe 20 or 30 of them) and although they say they're edible for a year, I wasn't impressed with the quality as I got near the end of that year.
I have purchased small quantities sometimes at the local supermarkets, but the per bar prices aren't cheap, and I much prefer a scoop of cottage cheese plus some fresh veggies and a small handful of plain almonds or walnuts.

I enjoy them occasionally as a not-too-sweet treat. I usually keep a couple in the refrigerator. I like the ones that are low in sugar. My favorite is the Dark Chocolate Nuts & Sea Salt

I like dark chocolate-covered almond clusters.
In bulk at places like Sprouts, also See's Candies, etc.
Hey, why not buy bulk roasted almonds (or whatever) and coat a cluster of them in melted dark chocolate. On a wax paper lined cookie sheet. Put in fridge for a couple of hours. (No baking)
Wouldn't that work?
'Anyway', I roam the supermarket aisles and usually end up buying various cereal bars such as 'Nutri-Grain Cereal Bars', etc., etc. Or store brands that are similar.
Whatever is on sale.
Not looking to lose any weight at all, just for snacking, feeling strong.
As a side note: At my age (well, I'm not that old) I'm more into feeling good and strong right now. 'Just in case' something 'goes wrong' and in the event that I might need the padding/strength.
'One never knows', as the saying goes. I've seen a lot of incidents where one needs back-up padding/strength. (Flu, injuries, etc., etc.)
Well, wishing all of us well. Keep strong!

I buy things like that online, usually the prices are lower. Try Amazon, Jet, Wal-Mart.

Love these! The almond and coconut are incredible and a bit on the chewy side for those of you who don't like the crunchy bars.
I also love the oat and honey with toasted coconut, so yummy!
