I realize that at this time of year most retail businesses are slammed but how long is an item at QVC in process?

I've had things ship out the next day and I've had things sit in process for a few days.

I think it depends if it's coming directly from a vendor or a certain warehouse.

I've had things ship in 4 hours, and then some that take a week.   It's a cra* shoot for sure. 2-4 days is the average for me.

Anywhere from 12 hours to 10 days or more. It seems really arbitrary to me. I ordered the Dell computer TSV the other week and it went from being In Process for over a week to being backordered. The Estimated Delivery Date remained the same. I called Customer Service and they really had no good answer for me because Dell is fulfilling the order directly. They could only tell me that I will "most likely" get the computer in 30 days, but it's possible the order could be canceled, instead.

So... yay. Good thing it's for me and not a gift.

My general rule ANY time of year is that I do not order anything from QVC if I need it within a two week window. Most things come in one week, but I'm not going to bet on "most" results. And once December comes around, I only order things from QVC for myself, not as gifts I need to be here before Christmas.

Ditto with other replies.

I was surprised when I ordered a food item about 3 weeks ago.   Food products usually get processed, shipped and received at record speed. Ordered took 4 days to process.  Once that was done, it got here in 2 days.

Target surprised me this year.  One would think  with all the competition they would be fast this time of year, but order I placed 9 days ago still isn't here and they provide no way to track it, only that expected delivery is for tomorrow.  Glad this is not a Christmas gift.  May be I expect too much.

I'm wondering if the delivery services aren't just on overwhelm because there's been such a huge increase in Internet ordering???

I just had a medication order take 9 days from order to my door - that's 4 to 5 extra days over their usual service.

I'm not sure.  Probably.  However it funny how some things ordered later, arrive and still waiting on earlier ordered items.  Could be type of shipping, mailing service they are using.

It is a cr@p shoot as someone else said.

But what I'm noticing the last two packages I've received have been so damaged...one had a sticker on it that it was received damaged but the last one didn't. One item had glass bulbs but somehow was okay.

It looked like it was stomped on and dropped a few hundred times.

I think there are very angry UPS drivers lately. I mean how can the company send it out like that to the shipper?

Next I have two firesticks and they better come in pristine shape!! Smiley Mad Although Amazon packages always come in perfect shape...so I'll know where it happened.

@ChynnaBlue, we ordered the Dell TSV also.  In fact ordered in very late pm and it arrived in 4 days.  Perhaps because of the size and color we ordered, they may have had more available to ship.  I was amazed it came so fast when EDD was 12/17.  I hate to say this but customer service reps are very limited with information they can provide.  I had an issue when pc arrived that package was obviously opened (security seal was broken).  CS was no help, so I emailed QVC social team and they were able to tell me why seal was broken (by Dell when pc was shipped to another location to add software).  They addressed my concern quickly by contacting their Dell representative directly, otherwise I was considering returning the pc.

I recently had an order sit in process for five days. I called the Q and the representative said she saw no notes of why it shouldn't ship and that sometimes things get stuck "in process" and she would "release" it.  It seemed to have worked because it shipped that day.
