hihi --

i've been online for a while today - posting, reading, whatever, mostly here. just went to look up a product and was told my session had timed out; i'd have to sign in again. that seemed odd, to have to sign in to search for something, but okay. i tried signing in and got an error message saying that it didn't work and asking if i'd like to go to the homepage.

i tried my search again and it worked, despite theoretically not being signed in which shouldn't have been necessary to begin with. then i looked at the top of the page and i had the option of signing out.

now, while i am typing this and therefore obviously signed in, the top of the page gives me the option to sign in or register.'

HUH???
