My stud is gone........

I had a pair of CZ studs (probably 1/2 carat each) for the second piercing in my ears. One day I removed them and can't find them anywhere. I know they are around here someplace but I don't know where. They were in a 14K yellow gold setting.

My questions is this: I bought them from the H a hundred years ago and I want another pair. Who has the better CZ's? The H or the Q? I want to replace them and maybe get another pair and just wear two studs in each ear, instead of the hoops or dangly ones I wear.

I also had a second pair of smaller ones and one day I saw the stone from one, on my floor. I was still wearing the other one but now I have just the stone and no setting from this second pair. So, from two pairs, I now have just one stud. (I guess one stud is better than none)... Some people don't even have that. I should be thankful.

Opinions please????? TIA
