Oh Hello, there dear friend. How are you doing with your post surgery knee?
I tried to get in touch with you several times last week but ((the -their))- Internet kept skipping/jumping.
I am promoting you to the science of 'any' meteorologist.... yours sounds as expertY as the rest.
Weather!? MINE!?::
I know that the tails of any squirrel's tail becomes more filled out, and the "" WOOLIEWORM "" is very fat and thick with hair like projections in the fall.
Guess both of us are A1 on the weather to come, but I said in a previous post, I believe this will be a long harsh COLD winter, not necessarily a lot of snow...now who really knows? I send your badge soon. Cold here. We had just about 8 days of autumn. The a/c was on two days ago/w/ temps in the high 80s... HUMID! VERY! 50 degrees this am.
Take care my friend and I'll catch you on another thread concerning your ROM and healing process.
Sending you a
with a
... take care and be safe. @RedTop /

I have found the Old Farmers Almanac to be very accurate on how it says you can predict the coming winter. When I lived in east TN, we could tell how many snows we would have by looking at wooly worms and seeing how many stripes they had around them....for 15 years, I think we were only wrng two times....and only by one each time.....nature knows!

@SilleeMee. Did you know Wolf Creek opened today? I head they already have 30" at the summit. Bet it's going to be a good ski season. Second earliest opening ever.

"how to know if you will have a bad winter or not". Ask me the same question in April and I'll let you know.

I've never heard this before, but just the other day my husband was commenting on how many spiders he's been seeing in the garage and right around the house lately. A week ago it was hot enough to have the A/C on and then fall suddenly arrived a couple of days ago, so much so that we had to turn the heat on. I'm going to watch and see if this theory pans out this winter.
