help with social media - FB

This will probably sound really dump to some but I hope you help, step by step. If I do a search on FB, pages, for QVC, I see a "like" button to click. I clicked it. What does that do for me. I thought I would be able to see post from other people who also "liked" FB. HELP! TIA
