 Strange things at times, but thankfully no hauntings. It would be scary.I love watching the paranormal shows though.A few months ago I took a video of my elderly mom in bed and there were tons of orbs floating around her.

My home was built in 1847 so you would think that there would be some ghostly activity. However, I don't hear or see anything, in fact my 🏡 feels safe and warm, if that makes any sense.

I would not classify this as a haunting but several years ago I woke up and two men were standing next to the bed, both in jeans and shirts, one holding a rifle, I looked at them and said "Hello" and poof they were gone, now I would have thought my mind was playing tricks on me, however, I had a Black Lab that was going crazy and barking at the men the entire time I saw them, and after they disappeared, it took me a good 15 minutes to calm him down?

I have had a lifetime of interesting spiritual experiences. The first that I recall was when I was a very young toddler. My mother would put me down for a nap in the guest bedroom on the first floor, instead of my upstairs bedroom, so she could keep en eye on me while doing things around the house. I was lying there and will never forget hearing in my head, "I died in this bed," which was accompanied with an "ahhhhhh" and a GOOD feeling of relief, release, and happiness. I was not scared because the feeling was a good one. I was so little that I don't even think I had the ability to tell my mother what had happened, and I don't know that I even thought it was unusual. But I knew it was special, and I never forgot it. Only as I got older did I learn that the room had been my grandmother's and that she had, indeed, died in that bed 18 months before I was born. Somehow, she communicated with me.

Only a year or so later, in that same room, which was doubling as a playroom, my mother watched me as I deliberately toddled over to a furnace floor grate, pulled it up, reached in, and brought out a box, which I handed to Mom. She had no idea it was there. In the box were various valuables, including her father's solid gold pocket watch and some good gold pieces of her mother's, which my mother had been looking for since her mother died.  I have to assume that my deceased grandmother  somehow told me what to do.

I have felt close to the grandmother I never knew all my life, and it's lovely to think that, although she died at only 57 before I was born, she has somehow been around me and my mother all this time.

Only about 15 years ago, I was lost in thought as I wrapped holiday gifts for my mother. I put funny little notes on some things, had gifts for her cats, etc. and as I did that, again in my head I clearly heard, "Thank you for being so good to (Mother's name)." I was shocked, looked up and around the room, and said, "Uh, you're welcome." Wow. I still wonder who that was, but it made me joyful because my love for my mother somehow attracted the attention of a spirit who loves her, too, and is watching out for her.

p.s. My mother and I grew up in the same wonderful old family home, which she inherited from her mother. The oldest part was built around 1865. Family roots are deep there.

Well a friend of mine rents half a house, very old house, in New Hampshire.  In the cellar several times they found stones set in a circle.  There's 'ghostbusters' nearby and they have been to the house a few times and have registered a presence(s).  However, on her side - nothing.

I've had things happen after the death of a loved one - too many, too often to go into.  And, I know dogs can see/sense someone, I've seem that.  But, I consider those visits from the Other Side.  As fas as ghost-sightings relating to spirits trapped here, no.

@Pooky1

I have two strange things that happen several times a year.  One is a very strong double knock and it's always on my right side as I'm waking up.  Occasionally, someone calls my name, also very loud, and also as I'm waking up.

Also, a week or so ago, I went into my daughter's room and called out my sister's name instead of hers.  My sister has been gone for well over five years now.

I don't believe in spirits.  The sounds I hear are very real.

ETA:  Oh wait!  Two more, one happened to me and one to a boyfriend.  The one that happened to me was as I was waking up, there was an elderly black lady sitting in a rocking chair at the bottom of my bed, knitting a large, beautiful, multi-colored blanket of some sort.  She was very old and had a colorful scarf around her head.  She stayed there for at least 30 seconds and finally disappeared.

The one with my boyfriend freaked me out.  We were in bed and he suddenly jolted up and said "they're here."  I said "who?"and he said "don't you see them?  They are standing all around us."  He had been a Black Beret in the Viet Nam war.  He said they were the people he killed.  I jumped up and left, and never stayed overnight with him again.

I have not personally experienced any hauntings, but the cemetery that my father is buried in is supposedly haunted. Many people have reported seeing, hearing, or feeling strange things at the cemetery.

My father's grave is right near the entrance, so I really haven't looked around much...and really have no desire to go ghost hunting (or should I say "haunting.")

my daughter says both her 2 daughters have had conversations with ghosts.  I believe her mom in law says the girls have visitors from there side of the family. I have never been around when these happenings happen, so can't say one way or another.

I know when my dad passed, I stayed at my house (where I grew up) my mom had left with my sister to her home (out of state). my dad came into the room I was sleeping and sat in his rocking chair and began to rock, scared me to pieces.
