That look has been around in the high fashion world for a while now. I saw a very similar look on a site yesterday, flowy and very pretty but I think it is an special occasion look.

Exactly! When it comes to fashion there really isn't much "new". I've seen the look you are referring to from the 40's and 50's, it's just been updated a little.

Exactly what I thought. Imagine what your feet would look like at the end of the day. Not to mention how over-extended her arches are; no support. Ugh.
Don't like the look of the skirt/pants combo either. A lovely, flowing skirt, okay. Slim pants? Yes. Together? No. (I just know it would be an accident waiting to happen; all that material getting caught up on something!)

I purchased a similar skirt this year, a few inches below my knee, in olive. I only pd. $45 at Nord. Rack and will wear it w/ a white tucked in tee/sandals in olive & black in fall/winter w/ ankle boots. My skirt is a knit fabric that I’d wear more often than the one pictured. Love the style and tie at the waist. The cascading layering down the front makes me look taller, if possible. Lol.
* Mine is a midi length skirt minus the pants.

@VirgoGirl The shoes look uncomfortable. Her foot isn’t even resting on the arch of the shoe. I call these “sit down only” shoes.

Cute but not good in a public restroom.I agree that those shoes look veeeery uncomfortable and maybe too small.

Thumbs up. Back in my younger days I would wear this style perhaps to a wedding, New Year's Eve celebration, out dancing. Would like to see the back, as another poster said, bathroom use may be an issue.

The shoes are too small for the model. It is something often seen - too big is seen more often and looks bad, too.

I would fall flat on my face trying to walk in those shoes. LOL
I also don't think that style would look good on my short self.
It's a nice outfit and appropriate for the model who obviously still has a waistline and some estrogen.

@catlover, I like it, but I really do not like those shoes for her feet. I dislike seeing toes coming out of the shoe like that. IMO there are many strappy sandals that would look better.
