graduation invitation obligations?

I received an invitation from a friend's daughter that I haven't seen in over 10 yrs. I know this is only a "ploy" for $$$,as she knows I wouldn't make an hr. trip for the graduation. Should I feel obligated to send her $$$$??? We have vaguely kept in touch,but not "BFF". Cash is not "flowing" so well with me at the time.
