I have several amex gift cards that are nearly worthless now. In fact, one is down to 3 cents! I just hate to leave little bits of that money lie around for years and years, but how can I spend those bits left over at the end of the cards?

I'd even donate them, but I don't know how they can be used easily. Ideas from you all before I call AmEx and ask. I definitely don't think the issuing company should get those dollars, but I bet that's what happens all too often. Great profit for them!
