This shaming concept would never work for cats. {#emotions_dlg.lol} Cats don't feel shame; they feel entitlement. They know everything is theirs to do with as they wish. No such thing as a guilty kitty. Wink

Cats are meticulous about using litter boxes. The only time any of mine have had accidents has been when I've somehow blocked the door to the litter box. And even at that, my cats were always courteous enough to go in the bath tub, leaving me an easy cleanup job. I was the one who needed to be shamed, not them, and they knew it, but didn't lord it over me. LOL. I did, however, shame my cat once when she brought me a dead baby duckling. I ranted and raved, even though I know she brought it to me as a gift. At any rate, she NEVER brought me a duckling again....a few mice, but that's it.

My cats always get a pat on the head when they bring me a mouse, but if they ever showed up with a baby duckling, I think I would have threatened to bring them back to the shelter, LOL.

I love the dog shaming website. We had a cat that pooped all over one bedroom. Even when the box was clean.

Thank you, that is just too cute. I appreciate posts like this, makes me happy.

You have it right about cats, entitlement is right. They have a way of turning things around and making everything our fault!
