friend ignoring me??

A lady I worked with 12 became my BF for many yrs. We both got laid off & moved on to other jobs. We lived several miles from each other,but kept in touch for couple yrs. Suddenly in Sept. she stopped answering my emails & FB msg. Sometimes she wouls answer 1-2 words. I asked if I had done something she said no. Then she has stopped answering anything at all. I am very puzzled by this. We shared everything for many yrs. Today I sent her msg that I was through trying to communicate when I get no response. Am I being harsh?

I have mailed b-day card,Christmas card...no response
