ebay deadlines

What happens if an item doesn't sell by the deadline date? Is it posted again or is it gone forever?

I have often seen them relisted. If I have had something in my Watch and don't bid before the auction ends, I get a notice that says the seller has relisted this item.

It's up to the seller. Sometimes they relist, sometimes they don't.

Most of the time it is re-listed. If you click on the watch list...ebay will notify you if it is re-listed.
