do you think that physical distance(different state) changes relationships.

I know it clearly depends on the persons involved, and I think it has to be a 2 way street (both parties making the effort). I'm asking because my inlaws moved acouple years ago, and I made an effort to make sure I called them often, but I saw they didn't seem to make an effort. Honestly, sometimes in makes me angry, but then I think that it's not worth the negative energy! others experiences??
