did anyone get off early today???

I work in the medical field and, God knows, we work when many others don't have to...for good reason, don't get me wrong! Luckily I was scheduled off today - I lucked out!!!

But DH works for a financial institution and usually works 830a - 5p. I thought for sure he'd be able to get off a tad early today. Even our medical office, that's usually opened 'til 5p, is closing at 3p today. Nope, he's got to work 'til the very last minute. I think that's awful.

Is he the only one???
