Re: delivery issues - not QVC

Personally, I think shipping companies are using Covid as an excuse to delay delivery.  Maybe in March and April it was appropriate, but I don't believe it is now since items are more readily available.  JMO.

I've had several orders shipped and was given delivery dates (after actual shipping) that were missed, and the excuse has been the pandemic.  It is my feeling that once the item is sent and delivery date is given, there is no reason for them not to hit the date, barring earthquakes, tornadoes, etc.  Again, JMO.

@geezeretteTY -   I wouldn't care about an extrta few days so your experience is good news and I won't be nervous if day 2 comes and goes.

I have not ordered masks from Amazon. But I recently ordered Paul Newman Salad Dressing that had been discontinued. You had to buy 6 bottles. And since it was a discontinued item the third party store charged about 5X the standard amount.

I got the items. It was filled by Walmart and was the new version of salad dressing. BUT the box was never marked as delivered. So I can not return the 6 bottles of salad dressing that I do not want. Plus, if I ordered the new version from Walmart I would have saved about $50.

After this experience, I will think twice before ordering from Amazon.

Sorry for the OT but @drizzellla  you just solved my mystery.  I ordered eight boxes of pasta from Amazon.  Yesterday I received a package from Walmart with ten boxes of pasta.  I checked my Amazon orders but it did not show the pasta had been delivered.  I was very confused and thought maybe I had too much wine one night and totally forgot I placed an order from Walmart lol

@CaligurllWoman Happy

the couple socially distant behind me at Trader Joe's yesterday was putting on those masks as we waited.  Wonder if they'd just come from Target.  Should have asked them!

I ordered disposable masks 2 days ago from QVC because they were back in stock (thought I could get them quickly. lol) and my estimated delivery date is June 5th.

Although, if you have a Publix they have a whole display of this and other styles.  They also have hand sanitizer, liquid soaps.

You could call and see if they still have them.  Today, it looked as though they restocked it with more selections.

Re: delivery issues - not QVC

I ordered the disposable masks from ShopHQ on 4/29 and they were delivered on 5/06.  They are adequate.  Still waiting for the mask I ordered on Amazon on 4/5...the vendor is not responding.   I try to order from Amazon as little as possible for various reasons but the few things I've ordered from them recently are not reliable...didn't receive.

As far as shipping delays, I spoke with my very nice UPS delivery man the other day, he said he is becoming exhausted as this Covid time has turned into one very long Christmas season, only worse.

Looking forward and hoping for some sense of normalcy sooner rather than later. Sigh.

I got these and think they are horrible.  They feel like a cheap fleece rag on my face.  Sweaty and uncomfortable. I am back to the disposable surgical masks.  Found them at Staples last Sunday.

Amazon has been awful with this pandemic.  They couldn't pull through.  Everything I order with Prime takes 2 weeks or longer.  A few items run about 4-5 days, which is the fastest service I have had.  I understand the warehouse issue, and lack of employees  but you would think someone as Monterey's as Amazon who has put everyone out of business would have had a plan B. Or C.  They were hit hard from day one
